Fabriclore, a tech-enabled fabric sourcing platform catering to fashion businesses, has successfully raised $1.6 million in a new funding round. The investment was led by PeerCapital and Regal Fabrics.

The company intends to utilize this new capital to enhance its presence in significant markets such as India, the Middle East, Europe, and the USA. Fabriclore aims to invest in technology to streamline operations, improve customer experience, and scale internationally.

Founded in 2016 by Vijay Sharma, Sandeep Sharma, and Anupam Arya, Fabriclore offers made-to-order fabric solutions, including fabric discovery, design, dyeing, printing, and quality inspection. These services are provided at lower minimum order quantities (MoQs) to direct-to-consumer (D2C) fashion brands and multi-brand retailers.

From its inception until 2022, Fabriclore developed a modern retail brand with a catalogue boasting 10,000 SKUs, created by over 550 suppliers across India. In 2023, the company pivoted to focus on India’s $20 billion fabric supply chain market.

Within a year of its B2B transition, Fabriclore claims to have onboarded over 200 private labels, primarily from India and the Middle East. The firm operates a 10,000-square-foot warehouse with an in-house quality inspection unit and has partnered with internationally accredited testing labs to provide certificates for specific client-required tests.

Additionally, Fabriclore has established a Fabric Experience Studio in Jaipur, offering a tactile experience of a wide array of fabrics sourced from 50 mills. The company plans to launch more such experience studios in tier A cities in India and the UAE.

With the latest funding, Fabriclore is set to advance its technological capabilities and expand its reach, cementing its position in the global fabric supply chain industry.
