Rocketlane, a SaaS startup serving professional services teams, has secured $24 million in a Series B funding round. Co-led by 8VC, Matrix Partners India, and Nexus Venture Partners, this investment will fuel Rocketlane’s AI-driven roadmap, enhancing features and capabilities for project delivery.
Founded in 2020 by Srikrishnan Ganesan, Vignesh Girishankar, and Deepak Bala, Rocketlane provides a purpose-built unified workspace for collaborating with customers during onboarding projects.
By streamlining software implementation and offering real-time visibility, Rocketlane helps businesses achieve faster time-to-value. Notably, the trio behind Rocketlane previously built FreshChat, an in-app messaging startup that was acquired by NASDAQ-listed SaaS firm Freshworks in 2015.
Rocketlane targets mid-market and lower enterprise clients, serving professional services teams with 150 to 2,000 members. Its customer base includes companies like OpenGov, LivePerson, Fivetran, Personio, and Icertis.
The startup competes against core PSA platforms and project management tools by combining both functionalities into its all-in-one modern PSA platform.
With a presence in India, the US, and Europe, Rocketlane has witnessed significant growth. Over the past year, it claims to have tripled its revenue, attracting over 500 customers who have transitioned from legacy PSA tools. Notable clients include Chargebee, Pando, ParcelLab, Yellow.ai, LinkSquares, Appcues, and Netcore.
