Health-tech startup Watch Your Health has successfully raised $5 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was co-led by Cornerstone Ventures and Singapore-based Conquest Global.
The company plans to use the new funds to scale its operations, expand its user base both domestically and internationally, and enhance its technological infrastructure and platform capabilities, as stated in a press release by Watch Your Health.
Founded in 2015 by Ratheesh Nair, Abhitosh Pandey, Jay Patel, Prachi Shinde, Prasanth Prabhakaran, and Ashok Nair, Watch Your Health operates in the business-to-business (B2B) sector. It collaborates with insurers and pharmaceutical companies to enhance customer engagement and improve the overall experience.
The platform leverages advanced analytics to provide personalized health recommendations, including guidance on diet management, appropriate exercise regimes, and suggested lifestyle changes.
Based in Mumbai, Watch Your Health has ambitious plans to introduce electronic behavior records, mental health support, advanced predictive analytics for disease prevention, chronic disease management, and post-hospitalization care programs.
The company has already formed partnerships with several healthcare providers, including Watania Takaful and Shalina Healthcare in the UAE, to integrate their services into its platform.
Watch Your Health faces competition from companies like HealthifyMe, GOQii, Zyla, Vitality, Sanlam, and others. With the latest infusion of funds, the startup aims to further cement its position in the health-tech industry and expand its reach on a global scale.
